When you think of an American living on a farm in Mexico, the image of tranquil countryside, picturesque canals, and a slower pace of life may come to mind. That’s exactly the life I’ve been living, and tomorrow I’m about to embark on a different adventure—a trip to Las Vegas to visit my family and my prior life.
Nestled in Mexico, our farm sits in front of a serene canal that reflects the beauty of our surroundings. Life here has its rhythm—a harmony with nature that you can’t find in the hustle and bustle of city life. But, as much as I love this farm and the animals we care for, family ties are precious, and I’m eagerly looking forward to reuniting with mine.
Tomorrow marks the start of a four-day journey to Las Vegas, where laughter, love, and cherished moments await me. My family is my anchor, and though miles may separate us, our bonds are unbreakable.
As I pack my bags, I can’t help but think about our farm and the furry and feathered friends who call it home. But worry not, because we’re fortunate to have friends who are more than willing to step in and take care of our beloved animals. They’ll feed them, make sure they’re safe, and ensure that the ranch continues to thrive in our absence.
During my stay in Las Vegas, I might find a moment to slip away and visit you guys, just to check in.
It’s a comfort knowing that even when I’m away, the farm is in good hands, and our friends are there to provide the care and attention our animals deserve.
If I don’t make it back to this blog during this trip, I’ll eagerly return in a few days. The tranquility of our Mexican farm, the peaceful canal, and the daily routines with our animals are a part of me. They’re my sanctuary. But for now, the bright lights of Las Vegas and the warmth of family beckon.
So, until we meet again, whether in the heart of the desert or on the farm by the canal, life continues to be an adventure, filled with the love of family and friends who support us in all we do.
